The q40 9007 headlights are way brighter than expected. Fit was perfect
Hello. I buy from you the first h7 led (non canbus) in 2017. I used with a pair of decoders (Philips) with no problem. In February one led lamp (left) some times turn off and the error in dash appeared. My thot is the time to change the lights (2017-2025). I order the q30 h7 kit, i installed and the error in dash keep. so maybe the decoders broken (Philips) so go to your website and make a second order with c20 decoder. The package arrived very quick i installed and the error is gone. BUT now have a big problem. Every time to turn signal left or right the lights drop power and flashing. This effect also make it when turn on fog lights (one flash), when go reverse the effect is on the voltage drop down. Now i waiting to have some money to order other decoder or maybe full canbus h7 led lights.
I was using before a normal 9007 Halogen Bulb and I was barely able to distinguish the road in front of me at night, but when I did the switch to the 9007 Headlight Bulbs Q40 Series 120W 30000 LM 6500K Cool White it was like magic happening in front of me. Now I can see all the details around the road in front of my truck.
I recommend 100% these headlight bulbs to all of the drivers having a hard time with their halogen bulbs it's like switching from using a candel vs a led flash light.
The taillights look good cosmetically but that is it. I installed them and the whole bottom row of leds in one light doesn't even work . Definitely very unimpressed with the quality standards.
Pretty simple to install and looks good. Would have gotten the Bluetooth version if there was one but the remote works fine.
