I replace these bulbs every year because that seems to be the life. I get quite annoyed at the fact that the last few times I’ve ordered the lights, I get them and they don't work out of the package. I refuse to stay up until one in the morning to call their short customer service window (all to be told they need a picture….. of what DARKNESS?) Sad we can’t make it work bulbs are great when they work but I think I must move on.
The headlights are bright, very bright. The only problem is they don’t fit correctly. The tabs were slightly off and had to “make” them work.
I had these exact bulbs for a long time, gotten multiple sets of them when they have gone bad. My ex-boyfriend liked them and had them in his truck. I liked them and thought they did a great job; never had a problem with brightness or anything, installation is easy enough but this most recent pair I bought are honestly trash. I got the exact same kind I always get, and they are SO DIM. I’m not even joking, it is one step above from driving without headlights. I thought it was just me, so I made sure I put them in right. Tried to change the angle. Cleaned my headlights and nope… it’s the e bulbs. I don’t know what happened but I think I’ll be looking for new bulbs.
Customer service sucks!!!! The customer service phone number is and has been “ no longer in service”! I had a set of their old bulbs which I put the same set in 2 trucks. They started going out do i replaced them with the new GX pro series H11 led lights. Worked great for 1 week then the drivers side low beam went out. I attempted to try the listed phone number on their Website with no luck. I finally got through by email and was told I need decoders! A month later Both low beams lights are now out!!!Plugged my 1 good old led bulb in and it works fine. This place is becoming a joke!!!! Used to be great lights! I will no longer recommend them to anyone!!!!! I was going to buy a set for my semi. I don’t think I’m going to now!!!!!!
Short and sweet review is super easy and works great. Yes they are brighter, nice and white which is the look I was going for.
Lets get into it, it is exactly as described, plug and play no need to get a resistor. Just remember that Leds are either on or off so I like to have my DRL disabled (just unplug the connection which is a grey plug by the battery) so the leds will be able to turn off. Unlike halogen, leds dont seem to have a dim mode just on or off.
Light pattern as long as you put the LED in so it mimicks the halogen is relatively the same, I adjusted my headlight to be slightly farther down than it was before so I am not an asshole to other drivers. Plenty of youtube videos showing you how.
It's really nice that the flat plate twists off so it makes it easy to put the rubber shield on. Put the flat plate on first, and flip the wire clip over to hold in place, then press the LED in and twist to secure. Very easy.
Caution on the fog lights. they are directional for the electricity so if they don't turn on, there is a detent bump on both sides so simply switch the connection for the fog lights and they will work.
Overall, they are awesome. Double thumbs up. We will see if they last!
