Got these for for my van and they did exactly what they said they would. Will be buying some for the wife’s car.
1) There is a wireless unit available in Thailand - AuxBeam would do itself a favour by having an in-cab wireless controller.
2) The wire leading off the in-cab control should be longer so the connector can be hidden under the dash
3) Button Allen head bolts could be provided to be a smother looking finish instead of the big headed industrial looking ones
4) The R4 AuxBeam lights have no instructions to connect to the controller
5) AuxBeam is slow or just doesn't reply to questions.
6) The brackets are for what? They don't really fit anyplace
7) The R4 lights are bright
Son convinced me to purchase these for the truck since a light was out. Oh my goodness. Installed in under 3 minutes, backed my car out of drive, turned my head to the right to look at the glory and immediately was blinded by the light and it was daylight. No foul words or yelling happened during installation and it was wrapped up in 10 minutes. So much for making it the only project of a Saturday. Darkness finally happened and the barn was lit up like a search light only the police have. Driving down the road and finally can see the neighbors mailbox long before we almost take it off the post. Stop signs shine a 1/4 mile away when using the brights. Now I can see more then one utility pole down the road. Best yet - no cars are flashing their bright lights at me. We accidently bought 2 sets as we didn't read careful enough but those are going in the closet to use as replacements and we probably won't use them as I am pretty sure AuxBeam is going to outlast the life of the truck. Would recommend to purchase and replace the halogen lights you have now.
